End of the Season

Green Wellies will close for the winter tomorrow October 31st at 5p.

Well, I have emptied the last planter, cut back the last perennial, cleaned and covered the pond, raked the latest fallen leaves and are ready to put the shoppe to bed for the winter.

It is always a bittersweet time for me, I'm ready for a slow down, but miss having my hands in soil and creating plant beauty during the winter., so I shall send the winter planning a stellar design for the "big pots".

I like to take this time every year to thank EVERYONE who continued to shop at Green Wellies and WELCOME all the new customers who discovered us this year.

I sincerely hope to see you all often during the 2019 Gardening Season.

We just discounted ALL remaining plants in the courtyard. Please take advantage of this 30% off SALE.
Discount will apply toward Perennials, Annuals, Mums, Aquatics, the only exception is Peonies, which will remain at full price.

And Spring Bulbs, don't forget you still have time to plant, do it!  You will so regret it if you don't.

Mums, Bulbs, and all the Important Fall Stuff

Once again, where did the summer go?

Our fall hours begin today with the shoppe closing at 5p.

Sunday 12n-5p
Monday through Friday 10a-5p
Closed Saturday

If you ever need us to stay a bit later, please give us a call and we will make that work for you.

This weekend for Labor Day we will be open Sunday 12n-5, but closed Monday.

Our fall products will arrive in the shoppe, the week of September 10th.

Finally Spring & Mother's Day

 Spring, we were in such doubt it would ever arrive this year, but I am happy to say this next week as we head towards Mother's Day the forecast looks very promising.

We have fully stocked all Annual Water Plants, so now is the time to jump start your water garden plantings.
Remembering plants aid in keeping your water quality top notch.

All pond additives and hard goods are also available and fish will be available for sale Friday the 11th.

As we all know Mother's Day is the unoffical kick off to the Annual Gardening Season, but keep your eye on the night time temperatures. 

All those gorgeous blooming annuals have been tucked into a controlled warm environment and will succumb to night time temperatures below 35.

By mid week we shall be bursting at the seams of our wee courtyard, Annuals, Perennials, Shrubs, and more, so stop in and let us assist you in picking the perfect gift for Mom or yourself!
